Shrimp Linguine!

Updated: Jan 17, 2019

“Life is a combination of magic and pasta” 💫

I’m a seafood kinda gal and after a full day of errands, coming home to cook this simple yet overwhelmingly delicious meal, was something I thoroughly enjoyed doing. Knowing fully well that I‘d be running around for most of the day, I seasoned my shrimp before I left home.

Here’s What You Need:

  • 1 pack of small Shrimp (60-71)

  • 1/2 cup chopped Parsley

  • 1/2 cup chopped Chive

  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • Olive Oil

  • Salt

  • Black Pepper

  • Chill Flakes

  • Chili Powder

  • 1 box of Linguine

  • 1/4 block of Parmesan Cheese

  • 1/2 box of Cream

What To Do?

  • In a bowl, mix together your seasonings and shrimp with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Let this marinate for minimum half an hour.

  • Boil linguine with olive oil added to the water but NO salt. Cook till soft, strain and set aside.

  • After your shrimp has had time to marinate, add a tablespoon of olive oil to a sauté pan. Add your shrimp when oil is hot and sauté on both sides. After about 5 minutes, your shrimp should be finished.

  • Add your cream and add 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan Cheese to your shrimp and let simmer for 2 minutes.

  • Add your shrimp to your pasta and mix it up!

  • Serve with a bit of grated Parmesan over the top and enjoy while warm :)

Note: If you overcook your shrimp, they will get tough.
