Popcorn Ochro!

Ochro Lovers, Gather Around!



Here at indecisive foodie, we think snacks are a great idea, but, healthy snacks. Today we give you, Popcorn Ochro! đŸ”„ A recipe we got from Grandma.


Ingredients:

  1. 5 Ochroes

  2. 2 cups of Cornmeal

  3. 1 beaten Egg

  4. Vegetable Oil


Directions:

  1. Chop grows into approximately 1/2” to 1/4” thick circles.

  2. Drop each piece into the beaten egg.

  3. Then roll in cornmeal.

  4. Taking a few at a time, drop into a deep pot of oil. The oil should be enough to cover the base of the pan.

  5. Cook and turn once brown. They will cook quickly.

  6. Sprinkle salt and black pepper and enjoy :)
