Stop ditching Water for Sodas and Artificial Juices!


I'm one of those who heavily advocates for drinking more water. People think I'm over-exaggerating the importance of water and that maybe 1 soft-drink or artificial juice isn't going to kill you, but what we fail to understand how many unnecessary toxins you've introduced into your body that has done nothing beneficial. So why waste the extra dollars for something that's serving you no purpose?


Up to 60% of the adult human body is water. Generally, an adult male needs about 3 liters per day while an adult female needs about 2.2 liters per day. Some of this water is gotten in food.


What Does Water Do For You?

  1. Needed by your brain to manufacture hormones and neurotransmitters.

  2. Regulates body temperature

  3. Acts as a shock absorber for brain and spinal cord

  4. Converts food to components needed for survival - digestion.

  5. Help deliver oxygen all over the body

  6. Lubricates Joints

  7. Flushed body waste, mainly in urine

  8. Allow's body's cells to grow, reproduce and survive

  9. Keeps mucosal membranes moist

  10. Forms saliva - digestion

Not so much of a joke huh?


Warning Signs That Your Body Is Lacking Water:

  1. Headaches - Feeling lightheaded and having headaches are signs that you need water! When your hydration levels drop, it prompts to a lessened measure of liquid encompassing your mind, which shields it from gentle knocks and development.

  2. Poor Concentration - Lack of hydration leads to difficulty in focusing, forgetfulness and troubles in communication.

  3. Dry Mouth & Bad Breath - Since the absence of water reduces the production of saliva which contains antibacterial properties which now prompt bacteria in the mouth bringing about bad breath.

  4. Constipation - You lose fluids every day and stool can become harder.

  5. Food Cravings - When you have sudden cravings, drink a glass of water before eating something. Your body can send false signals that you are hungry when really you are thirsty.

  6. Reduced Urination - A sound measure of water admission results in urinating 4-7 times each day. As your body discharges poisons through pee, not urinating at normal interim can be dangerous.

  7. Lethargy & Fatigue - Absence of water causes low circulatory strain and insufficient oxygen supply all through the body.

  8. Muscle and Joint Pain - At the point when your body needs water, your bones begin pounding against each other, creating torment in the joints.

  9. Dry Skin and Lips - The skin is the biggest organ and requires a decent amout of water to stay in optimum condition.

So Drink up! This is NOT a Drill! I repeat, this is NOT a drill!

"BUT IT'S SO REFRESHING THOUGH!"


Yeah well do you know what's not refreshing? Knowing that we having a growing population of children and adults suffering from:

  1. Obesity

  2. Diabetes

  3. Heart Disease

  4. Tooth Decay

  5. Osteoporosis

  6. Kidney Issues

  7. Sugar Overload

It may seem harmless but remember feeding your body right is also feeding your mind right.
