Detox Smoothie

My New Year Treat To You 🥳


The new year has begun and if you’re anything like me, you’re trying to get back on your fitness wagon and rid yourself of the ham, bread, turkey, cake, cookies, wine and everything else you packed into these past few days!


This is is my first recipe for you, and trust me, it works.


Grab your blender and let‘s get going!


Ingredients:

  1. Approximately 12 Medjool Dates

  2. 1/2 of a Pineapple chopped

  3. 1 Cucumber chopped in quarters

  4. 1/4 tsp of Ginger grated

  5. Squeezed lime juice from 1 lime (no seeds)

  6. 2 Cups of Water

  7. 3 blocks of Ice



Directions:

  • Remove the seeds from the Dates.

  • To the blender, add ingredients in this order: dates, cucumber, ginger, pineapple, lime, water.

  • When your smoothie is nearly finished, then add the ice to the blender and finish. Ensure the dates are finely chopped up and add more water if necessary.

Enjoy! I definitely recommend having this at night when your schedule is free 👀
