Chia-Seed Smoothie Goodness

Updated: Sep 30, 2018

Stop & Smoothie!

This was a quick put together snack that can actually be used for #Breakfast as well. It's delicious, smooth, and packed with delightful goodies!

So What Do You Need?

  1. Pineapple - Just 1 will suffice

  2. 10 Mangoes - Picked from a tree in my backyard lol (No don't come stealing my mangoes! But get you a few ripe ones)

  3. 5 Bananas

  4. Chia Seeds!

  5. Coconut Water - Avoid bottled water as it's disappointingly spoiled most times. Get yourself a few coconuts, put the water in a jar and store in the fridge and save the jelly as well!

This recipe works best with Frozen fruits - Yields to a lovely chilled #smoothie.

Basically - We're blending everything together. Peel your fruits, chop 'em up and drop into the blender, together with your Chia Seeds. If you would like to increase the amount, don't add extra fruits and don't just start pouring water into there!

Add your desired amount of coconut water instead or add ice!

Now Blend Baby Blend.

Final Step - Pour into a glass and serve Chilled :) I added some extra #ChiaSeeds to the top of my Smoothie as my own personal touch.

What About Nutritional Value?

Did You Know - Aztec Warriors ate Chia Seeds to give them High Energy & Endurance?

Chia Seeds are beneficial since they are said to be rich in Fiber, Antioxidants, Omega-3 fats, Protein, Vitamins & Minerals!

Antioxidants speed up the skin repair's systems and prevent premature aging due to inflammation and free radical damage.

Since it's super-high in fiber, 1 serving can fulfill the recommended daily dose of Fiber which benefits bowel regularity and healthy stool.

Chia Seeds are also known to regulate Cholestoral & High Blood Pressure and also helps treats Diabetes. Don't believe me? Ask your Doctor ;)
