Apple Bread? Yeah!

"An Apple an day keeps the doctor away!"


After our Banana Bread we decided to give you another idea, Apple Bread! Inviting all apple lovers to try this recipe. We promise you won't regret it!

Topped with our Vanilla Glaze, this bread made such a delectable, warm dessert. Best enjoyed on a rainy day.


Ingredients for Bread:

  1. 1 cup of chopped Granny Smith Apples

  2. 1/4 cup of Almond Slices

  3. 1 cup of Granulated Sugar

  4. 2 cups of Flour

  5. 1/2 tsp Salt

  6. 1 tsp Baking Soda

  7. 2 tsp Baking Powder

  8. 2 tsps Cinnamon

  9. 1/2 cup of Butter

  10. 2 Eggs

  11. 1/2 cup of Milk

  12. 1 tsp Vanilla Extract


Ingredients for Vanilla Glaze:

  1. 1 tbsp Melted Butter

  2. 2 tbsps Milk

  3. 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

  4. 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar



Directions for Apple Bread:

  • Preheat oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Using a flat edge beater, cream butter and sugar in mixing bowl.

  • Add eggs to mixture and let beat well, then add milk and vanilla extract.

  • When thoroughly mixed, add flour and whip for a few minutes, and then cinnamon.

  • Add almond slices and chopped apples and mix for a few seconds, allowing apple slices to be distributed evenly in the mixture.

  • Coat a 8.5" length x 4.5" width x 2.5" height baking pan with butter and lightly flour.

  • Pour mixture into baking pan.

  • Bake for 1 hour. At 50 minutes, check to see if finished baking.

Directions for Vanilla Glaze:

  • In a separate bowl whisk together your ingredients, add powdered sugar into mixture of butter, milk and vanilla extract.

  • Drizzle glaze over Apple Bread when warm.
